Anonymous asked: Do you have a link to the performance that was going to be released as a live cd i think?
I think you mean Alexandra Palace…shesfixingherhair!
Anonymous asked: Where I can find or dowload the videos of storytellers?
If you mean the VH1 show Storytellers, The Strokes have never been on. Are you thinking of an MTV televised concert? If so, you can check the ones up for download HERE!
Anonymous asked: what is the best show of the tour of angles? i love that tour.
Bonnaroo and Reading, if you ask me! For the time being, you can download both of those shows off of Lou’s site, but who knows how long the links will still work.

The Strokes $2 Bill Performance (.zip of a .mp4)
(This should work, it was hard finding a place that would accept a file that large. Please let me know if it’s a dud).
The Strokes - Live At The 2004 KROQ Weenie Roast 6-13-04 (full show)
(We had one anon in the askbox asking for this and another supplying it before I could get around to looking for it—I’m just going to assume you’re both the same person rather than jump to the conclusion that our askbox is the crossroads of the Twilight Zone again or something).

The Strokes - Live At 2 Dollar Bill [Full Concert] (by reimzor)
Anonymous asked: From all the videos you've seen (or shows you've actually been to) what do you think is the best live strokes show?
(Last question of the evening, I promise to post more photos and stuff tomorrow, today was an empty day)
CHELSEA: One of my favorite things to watch is the MTV $2 Bill show from 2002. All of the early stuff is usually great—they had an energy back then that I don’t think they have in the same way now. Arlene’s Grocery from 2000 is just hysterical. Oxegen 2006 is great (or the few videos we have of it), as well as Hurricane Fest and Fuji Rock. Lolla ‘10 is awesome. This era, my favorite by far was Bonnaroo (Reading is second place). Of the four times I’ve seen them in person over two eras, my favorite was Sweetlife Fest, this year.
The Strokes—Unknown Song #1, Brownies, Jan. 26, 2000
Re: the last question answered.
Around 1:13, you can hear the guitar riff that would appear in “Games,” 11 years later.
