Albert saunters towards a marooned Julian and clumsily pulls the mic from him. “Er, tonight is Julian’s birthday, so we’d like you all to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to him.” Grins break out across the stage and the crowd. Four band members collapse on Julian in a big bundle of puppy love while Fabrizio brings on a cake with three candles. An embarassed Julian sniffs the cake before Fab bounces down from the stage to offer it up to those fans squeezed between the barriers. “Feast my friends!” Julian intones from his stool, arms wide.
